Work with the McCain 2008 presidential campaign

A frequent public spokesperson for the defeated McCain presidential campaign, Bounds himself made news after his September 1, 2008 interview with Campbell Brown of CNN news. That interview concerned McCain's then-recently announced running mate Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.[6] The focus of the exchange was Governor Palin's foreign policy experience. [7]
